2. Then again, Keith Olbermann was never on the other side anyway
and if you missed his commentary on Countdown tonight, well go here right away...

6. Wow! The whole piece absolutely rocks!
Paragraph after paragraph pummels the wee man's administration! I'm sending the link to everyone on my address list. I was, however, particularly fond of this left jab:

Anybody seen the Vice President lately? The man whose message this time last year was, 'I'll Protect You, The Other Guy Will Let You Die'?

Thanks so much for the link.

4. I caught a minute of Shepard Smith tonight...
He wasn't his old cocky self. The sincerity seemed genuine and there was a softness in his voice. Time will tell if it was life changing.

5. It will take a little time for their corporate overlords to reestablish
control. I'll bet they're praying to their gods that no more Cat 5 hurricanes or any other massive natural or man-made disasters occur soon regardless of the implications for ratings. As the storm bore down on the Gulf Coast last week I got tired of hearing about the consequences of a levee failure on the "bowl" of New Orleans. You could sense the excitement of the ambulance chase in some of the media voices. But they have sobered up considerably. Now if we could only get a bunch of politicians to get off of their power trips and get down to the business of governing.

7. No, we're not.

The best propaganda has to tell some truth to maintain a veneer of credibility. These are pros. The corporate media serves only the corporations.

The events of the last week have been so horrific that the corporate media has to tell some of the ugly truth so that the sheeple will believe their lies later.
