WBRZ:AP announcing National Guard telling people: NO FOOD unless you leave
(The tug of war between Gov Blanco and Bush continues : the governor does not want Federales/ military occupation in NOLA and Bush, being the pusillanimous mother fucker that he is, would just as soon see the people die):

"AP is announcing that the National Guard is telling the people if they don't leave New Orleans, they will not give them food and water.

This is the latest crisis on WBRZ Louisiana... WBRZ is researching the story now, and they are not happy... they don't want one more death, and they don't want this heavy handed tactic used...

So far, they can't get a strait anwser... however, the AP is saying that's what the National Guard is doing... Needless to say.. Louisiana is concerned that this is true.. and it's becoming an immidiate cause for strife...

5. Many of them are staying because they refuse to leave their companion
animals behind. Jesus, just let them take their animals with them you compassionate-less bastards!

6. yeah, They Just Don't Get It
The reason many of these people didn't want to leave in the first place is because they didn't want to abandon their pets. (I am not talking about ones who couldn't afford to evacuate, I am talking about some of those who chose to stay).

Every one in a flood prone or earthquake area - ask your vet for either nice death pill and/or sleeping pill for your pet.

If you ever find yourself in this situation, take your pick, kill your pet in a merciful way (do not abandon it to starve) or, knock it out so it will be quiet and sneak it with you.

8. Why am I not surprised by this nonsense?
Bush figures he has to get the state and city back by occupying the city?

Isn't Blanco still the commander of the National Guard units in her state, or have we discovered the real purpose for integrating them into the regular army in Iraq under Bush?

9. They are trying to avoid an epidemy of cholera or dysentery
Sure, this is the bad way to convince these people to leave, but dont forget they are living in totally non sanitary situations.

Except, of course, if you dont care about them and want them to die as well, but in a way that is in accordance with your ideology.
