Intelligence Failure (again!)
Beyond the blaming of mere mayors and state government, there is also a new RW talking point (used by Newt Gingrich last night on Faux): The POTUS wasn't adequately informed of the situation last week.

So, as with 911 and WMD's, it is once again a failure of intelligence?!?!?!

In the real world, if a chief executive consistently has major failures would it be acceptable to the stockholders to say "but...but...I didn't know"?

Maybe we should investigate WHY DIDN'T YOU ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS, THEN?

It's your job to know!

5. Impossible
Since the media wasn't embedded and controlled by the pentagon, it was impossible to squelch the flow of info. The whole world knew, only an imbecile would be oblivious. Well, yes.

Now, if the country had the same access to view Iraq...Do you have something to say Senator Kerry?
