My theory:

He had a Real Mad Mama at his gate asking questions he couldn’t answer.

So he did what he always does in times of stress, he “self-medicated..”

Opps! Bad timing with Katrina, still “medicated.”

It takes time to dry out the Puppet Prince. Can’t having him in front of a camera trying to act sympathetic when he’s stoned out of his mind, now can we.
