Brown was asked to resign from his job at IAHA, for supervisory failures.
Just to make this perfectly clear, the International Arabian Horse Association president asked Michael Brown to resign because his supervisory lapses were bring lawsuits against the association.

Before joining FEMA, that was his job for 11 years. Bush crony Joe Allbaugh brought his incompetent, jobless friend in with him when Allbaugh became head of FEMA.

This "shrink government until it is small enough to drag it into the bathtub and drown it" crowd has actually drowned thousands of innocent people in New Orleans. They are criminally negligent as well as incompetent.

I don't want anyone to miss this crucial piece of information, so I'm posting it here. I think this is a necessary redundancy.

3.  I love this one: to be FEMAed
(v.) to be FEMAed; to be ignored for at least five days until it becomes politically expedient to rescue you.

Brilliant. It deserves it's very own thread. :)
