I'm afraid that historians will consider Bush to be one of the worst
presidents in US history, but also one of the most powerful.

Since 9/11, he's gotten pretty much what he's asked for: becoming a "War President," tax cuts for his rich friends, decimation of the environment, an energy bill that does nothing but more tax cuts to the oil companies that are already making obscene profits, and probably most importantly, he will be appointing at least two, probably three justices to the Supreme Court (Have you noticed how young John Roberts is? He'll be on the bench for decades. I'll bet his next appointee will also be in his/her 50's.) About the only part of his right wing agenda that he hasn't gotten through is the privatization of Social Security.

We sit here and scream all the time, but Bush has had an agenda that would make a liberal or moderate puke, but he's been successful at getting the legislation or executive acts to implement them. With the makeover of the Supreme Court, I'm afraid that the Bush legacy will last for many many years. And it will take many more years after that to bring the US back to greatness.

6. I'm not afraid of it. I'm SURE of it.
Certainly the worst president in my lifetime. Not suited to the job himself. Seemingly incapable of appointing suitable people to high positions. Misusing the military. Trashing the economy. Obliterating fiscal responsibility from the budget. Raping the environment. Turning the gap between rich and poor into a chasm. Sending federal agencies off on goose chases and negating others with unfunded mandates.

I'm hard pressed to think of a single correct act this administration has taken...

9. I have no doubt that he is the worst pres in history
The point I was trying to make is that he is also one of the most powerful presidents that we have ever had.

It's disgusting

8. US back to greatness? Won't happen. Bush and the Conservatives
have made sure of that. Only the rich Conservatives will endure.
