2. FRist has already asked an investigation and a commission
headed by Collins and Lieberman. I wont hope too much from such a commission.

6. Well, even as a joke it's a little off the mark

Hitler was dead by then.

Unless, of course, he was living in Brazil.

8. Because by saying it first, he makes it sound like he wants answers
too, like he's not to blame. It's just a good political move for someone who doesn't mind the blood on his hands and the stench of death all around him

Is this something mysterious? He's done this fraud a hundred times so far out in the open.

10. Consider, for a moment, how totally BIZARRE it is for a President* ...
... to proudly proclaim that he's actually going to "investigate" the actions of people who report to him! Not to belabor the obvious, but the whole purpose of a separate investigatory process is due to the INCREMENTAL workload, including a management workload. The independence aspect is secondary. For a manager or executive to 'volunteer' to do (part of) his job is surrealistic. For people to hear this and regard it as sane is Bizarro World.

If there were EVER a more complete proof the Smirko is a nothing, a zilch, a figurehead, a useless turd in a man suit, and a total sociopath, it's the FACT that he acknowledges not only that he doesn't do the work of Chief Executive but that he doesn't even have the slightest comprehension what that job entails.

He's "volunteering" to do his own job ... and only part of it!!!

11. Bush's job is to know the people he appoints and supervise them
to be sure they are serving the interests of the American people.

In this regard, he is a massive failure.

12. He said he wants to LEAD it
So it sounds like he knows the outrage is out there and stonewalling on any investigation at all doesn't look good. So he offered to LEAD the investigation--nothing impartial or bipartisan.

13. Not sure
Since he didn't think 9/11 was worth investigating and balked and stalled until he had to. Maybe he's trying to look manly. I have no idea why he does any of the weird shit he does. I just want him in prison for the rest of his life where he belongs. He can investigate anything he wants then.

14. To take the investigation
away from those who would REALLY investiate. The *asshole and his minions will do anything and everything to cover their butts. Also of note, he did not specify a time in which he would begin this "investigation" :puke:

17. Do you know what the term "cover-up" means?
Of course, wussies like Chimpy would demand that THEY investigate themselves.

Rapists and murderers would love to have the opportunity toi investigate their own crimes themselves. Bush is right there in that logic. He's scared at what the truth might bring. His mind is that of a conman.

20. Mmm-hmm.
And we should also let Saddam do HIS own investigation.

And maybe next time Charles Manson comes up for parole, we should let him choose the parole board.

Welcome to Bizzaro World.
