Reason why Dems should oppose Roberts: Michael Brown, Michael Chertoff
If there's one reason why the Democrats should offer a forceful and fierce opposition to this John Roberts guy as supreme chief justice, it would the precedent Bush has set with his nominations.

Michael Brown, nominated by Bush as head of FEMA, and Michael Chertoff, nominated by Bush as head of Homeland Security have been COLOSSAL DISASTERS at their jobs.

Bush can NOT be trusted to appoint anyone to positions of responsibility in this nation. For that reason alone, any future nomination by Bush should be blocked by the Democrats.

This nation can no longer afford more Bush nominees. Roberts should be no exception!

2. Not to mention Rummy, Condi, Bolton, Gonzalez...
The fact that he has been even promoting the worst losers to even more positions of power should be a sign. Condi and Bolton are the most blatant examples of this.

4. exactly. the fucking NERVE of the the clueless fuckwadt to even
dream of trying to nominate someone NOW.
The whole fucking disaster, tens of thousands of lives lost, because of his criminally insane appointments of unqualified friends to important positions.
People just DO NOT GET IT, though. I wore my "Dumb Ass" t-shirt with picture of Bush, all militant like today, onto the bus and the driver said she regretted voting for Bush, she couldn't believe what happened. When I brought up this fact of the gall of the smarmy little man to try to foist yet another one of his friends on the American people, she said, oh, well, that's where I disagree. So the dumbass idiots still trust the creepy little bonehead to do something legitimate. fools.
