Gore in Portland Oregon tonight-SOLD OUT!!
Well not really. This was a free program where Gore was to speak on global warming. The event was really under the radar (I found out from a MOVE ON email). My family was eager to hear him. We got to the Portland convention center 30 minutes before the scheduled starting time, only to face a massive line. Well, we never did get in, as they closed the doors. The hall was completely full
Are there any DU'ers that were lucky enough to hear him, and would be so kind as to let me know what I missed?

3. Maybe we can find an mp3 of it somewhere
That is great that. Maybe we can find a mp3 of the speech on the internet somewhere. Gore is speaking about things that people need to hear about and aren't hearing elsewhere.

4. Is this being broadcast somewhere?
No one answered someone last night about CSPAN covering. You all please keep me informed; I am dying to hear him; I need to hear my president speak hope.

6. According to their website, it's one million square feet.

I wonder if they were in one specific area only. Otherwise, that is one hell of a packed house.

I can't find any building capacity figures.

Edited to add capacity figures:
Exhibit Halls
Size
Square Feet
Ceiling Height
Theater
Classroom
Banquet
10’x10’ Exhibits

Max Capacity: — — 15,000
