19. In the primary they do. They have more than half of the votes you need to |
|
get nominated. Blue states will vote democratic in the GE, so read states matter even more then.

Dean is still tied for second only a point behind Clark. If Dean gets some momentum out of NH tonight he definitely should work on a 2nd place showing in SC.
I think Edwards will solidify his advantage in SC because I think he will come in third in NH tonight.

5. Does that go for all the candidates? |
|
I don't think SC is a must win for any of the candidates. You sound like the talking heads on FOX deciding who should drop out and when. Let it play out and we'll see what happens.

9. ARG presumes 39% black turnout. It's the lowest of all polls. |
|
(That's from memory -- correct me if I'm wrong.)
If a candidate gets disproportionate black support or white support, the results will be different.
I don't know what S-USA is presuming, but it's probably higher, thus noticeably different results.

8. Clark will win OK & AZ. Should Edwards drop out if he doesn't |
|
win OK or AZ? Of course not. It's not ONE state that matters....it's that another candidate besides Kerry will have to start winning more than one state sooner or later. That takes $$$, something Edwards doesn't have much of.

Can you tell me what Edwards' campaign finances look like right now? I've been trying to find out. Maybe you know something nobody else does.

17. Furthermore, no amount of money is going to buy Clark better campaign... |
|
...skills.
They should put Clark's resume in his son's personality, and then they'd have a candidate who could win.

in every state within 1000 miles of SC south of the Mason-Dixon.

18. See posts 6 and 11 and read the other thread which suggests Edwards |
|
should drop out if he loses SC.
Should I assume that you'll go over there right now and paste this same argument in defense of Edwards remaining in the race if he loses SC?

You know, I like Edwards. I was for him ( and Kerry too) before Clark got in. Lots of Clark people have spoken well of Edwards. Please please don't start acting like those other supporters ( you know who I mean) who were obnoxious and uppity. You'll turn people off. You may need the support of Clarkies in the future.

Which post do you think is uppity?
See post 18. There's another thread here suggesting Edwards should drop out if he doesn't win SC. I was making a joke about that one. It seems like nobody wants to hear that said about their favorite candidates. When I make a joke by writing the inverse of that statement, nobody likes to hear it either, in the form of a joke, even though they're agreeing with the sentiment when it's said about Edwards.

26. Anytime anyone thinks I'm taking a turn for the worse, speak up. |
|
This is the second time someone's said this today, and the second time they couldn't say exactly what it was that I said.
For the first time, I'm explaining in a post here or there why I think Clark and Kerry might be weak candidates. I'm only being honest. Don't confuse that with being cocky.
