This makes the Robert' push for nomination very scary
Considering this Administration appointed a horse trainer for FEMA chief the fact that they are trying to rush the Robert's appointment through should be cause for serious alarm.

Please click on the link below to send a letter to your senators and/or newspaper.

In the aftermath of the utter devastation of New Orleans the president of the United States moved in swiftly and aggressively . . . to promote the nomination of John Roberts to the even higher position of Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. There had already been a massive mobilization of manpower, as administration lawyers fanned out all over the country to cover up and stonewall any records from the last 20 years that might expose what Roberts actually stands for. But what we do already know is bad enough. And now they want to ram this thing through before anybody realizes why he had to lie about his leadership role in the ultra reactionary Federalist society. Tell your senators NO on Roberts for any Supreme Court position, let alone the chief justice.

3. Bush should not be REWARDED with being able to rush nominations through
The country can do without the SCOTUS being fully staffed but we can no longer suffer the danger of an incompetent running the WH and a neocon-PNAC cabal running him!!

4. Did anyone hear Pat Robertson's latest remark?
Was listening to Majority Report briefly last night and they had audio of Robertson basically saying that because of the hurricane, Congress shouldn't fight the Roberts nomination and that therefore there is at least one good thing to come out of all of this!
