New name for Bush: President Nero |
|
It says it all.
Only difference is, Nero became Emperor due to the manipulations of his mother.
______________ "I always jest to people, the Oval Office is the kind of place where people stand outside, they're getting ready to come in and tell me what for, and they walk in and get overwhelmed in the atmosphere, and they say, man, you're looking pretty." -Bush, Washington, D.C., Nov. 4, 2004

11. Nero was a drunkard and a gambler that liked to ... |
|
go out into the city with his friends get drunk and find some defenseless person to beat to death just for the sport of it. He was mean, arrogant and vicious. He knew he had the power and didn't have to answer to anyone. Sound familiar?

|
"We've got to change today's culture that clearly says, 'If it feels good, do it. If you've got a problem, blame somebody else,'"

14. Bush - Nero comparisons: a study |
|
Last year I did a full study of the similarities between Bush and Nero: http://juliusblog.blogspot.com/2004_03_01_juliusblog_archive.htmlLittle that I knew history would prove to make the comparison even closer.

That's a fascinating summary (and parallel).
You must be really blown away how your insight continues to gain more connecting events.
Thanks for sharing.
