What Bush & WH are doing now is not letting angry Am s"reality test"
By putting up a front that repeats 'they have done nothing wrong' 'Brown will not be fired' 'we are problem solvers' 'what went wrong? (to Nancy Pelosi)' et all - they defy the media to find a visual of the crisis. They will repeat this lie and 'act out' this lie as if it were a play.

We all reality test every day of our lives (what does it look like, sound like, feel, how my environment makes me think about things, etc. - and this is how we come to our day to day realities). Sociopaths run around and reality-test where people are at in their own personal take on things. So they know exactly how to manipulate their "mark's" reality to suit whatever the endgame is. Once they know how we see things, they then set about manipulating how we test. They try and change that with lies, acting, third parties repeating the code talk, control of opinions around us, etc.

So hard will it be for journalists and Democratic Leadership to find a way to keep talking about the issue, that it will die (or that is the hope). And Bush's patsy followers will be convinced.

It is propaganda at its worst. It is a one act play that will be repeated from now until the end of time.

'what mistakes?'. 'we did nothing wrong'. 'we helped people a great deal' 'people are safe' 'nothing happened' 'we did a great job' 'here is the grocery list of all we did' 'nobody made a mistake at the federal level' 'no investigation needs to happen' 'the President was masterful' 'the president is a problem solver', etc.

What should we call this play? This acting? This piece of performance art that will last years (on the question of response to Katrina)

"DROWN-A-Lot"?
