General Bush at the Battle of New Orleans (a cartoon I drew at work)

I got the idea in my head a couple days ago but didn't do anything with it. I work as a telemarketer (so if I ever annoy any of you... you know it's me 'taking my work home with me') and the perks of it is that you can draw on the phone. This is the first political cartoon I've drawn in a while.




Do you think the text is legible enough or should I work to clean it up in the future?

2. If I look at it long enough, yes it's legible

When I really look at it,I "get it" ;very dark,yet
to the point.

It muist have been subconscious...

Of course it's supposed to be a spoof of Andrew Jackson defending New Orleans with a motley crue of Americans against the British attack,

judging from the positive response I've gotten here, perhaps I could do a couple a week or one a week and they could appear on the front page.

14. Hey there Expatriot, how about a cartoon along these lines

Katrina the last straw. I was thinking about an image for this. I don't really have much to go on but the words. For some reason I had more of the drawing straws thing instead of the camels back thing. Maybe you can think on it.
