Are you going to New Orleans? Help get the truth out.

I'm a freelance journalist writing for a prominent progressive website. Now that the press has been kicked out of New Orleans by FEMA, it's important for the world to know what's happening.

If you or anyone you know is inside New Orleans (ie, rescue workers, clean-up crews, insurance inspectors, National Guard, etc), please help get stories and pictures out. Anyone with a cellphone camera can document what's happening without others being aware.

Please pm me if you or an acquaintance has a story to share of what's going on since the media got booted out yesterday.
I will protect anonymity of sources if requested. Help keep the truth out there for the public to see!

1. I'll be in the region next week,

touring with a dance company. Our schedule is now up in the air after the Storm+, but if I can I will pitch in there or get to DC for the marches.
