Pelosi has gotten way out in front and taken on Bush (saying he is ultimately responsible for the bungling of the Katrina response, telling us of his insensitive comments), FEMA and Brown (she had the spunk to call for Brown's ouster, and has said that Bush should have hired someone with experience and background in emergency management), and now Kyra Phillips (of all people).
She deserves a lot of gratitude and support!

Because it gave Pelosi a chance to show her mettle and smarts and get her point across even more forcefully.
I just think it is important to support those leaders who are going to bat for us.
