CBS: Bad news for Bush (Polls from NH) |
|
Edited on Tue Jan-27-04 06:41 PM by Cush
Q's asked to voters in NH Today:
66% Said it was wrong to to Iraq
71% Said the Economy is in bad shape
38% Or worse off finacially
They also noted that 4 out of every 10 voters in NH today are Independents, and that this could prove be to be troubling for Bush. Bob Schiffert (sp) said that the results from the polling is "astonishing"

Unfortunately, that's 66% of NH Democratic primary voters. Joe sixpack still thinks "we needed t'whup them towlheads' asses.'
Although, on the brighter side, I hear a slight drip, drip in the media, re: Dr. Kay's WMD findings. I haven't lost all hope yet.

...good news for Dean... oh please, oh please...
Here in AZ we need a Dean win if Lieberman is pulling out. The Lieberman vote will go to Kerry, so we need extra momentum to counter that.

5. If the Dems did not have so many good candidates |
|
getting their message out about Bush, I don't think so many people in New Hampshire would be so well informed.
This is why I hope the Dems have more exciting, close races. It's the only way to get our message out. We don't have the money to compete with Bush when it's just us against Bush. And the networks won't show the Move-on ads.

The economy's in the crapper, the entire world hates us, our soldiers are still dying every day, the government's been closed tighter than a snare drum, every week we find out about another lie that Smirk told us, this WH is engaged in spying on citizens and political opponents, and the leader of the free world is a illiterate, drunken MORON. And the pundits are surprised that people aren't happy???
God, these people are thicker than His Idiocy.

8. The results are astonishing? |
|
Where in the hell have they been? I live in Kansas for gods sakes and nobody here seems to want Bush* or his war or his economy. If it is like that in Republican Land then where are these people living? Damn right. Does this mean a change in the pro Bush* reporting? Funny thing, reality. It does seem to come back and bite you in the ass.

Aren't those polls of voters voting in the Democratic primary today? Those might not be very representative of America. Besides, NH has really become a socially liberal, fiscally conservative state. Live free or die, remember?

16. Yes, I assume it does |
|
that's why it's a warning to Bush, especially if independents are disenchanted. A number of national polls have shown independents moving toward Dems on many issues and further away from the GOP.

They all but called Cheney a liar, after he repeated the lame claims about the mobile biological weapons labs tha D. Kay said, at worst, were producing rocket fuel.
