So, I was in the grocery store here in Colorado Springs, and I picked up a copy of the new Newsweek with Kerry on the cover. Young guy running the checkout. He sees the mag and asks, "Are you voting for Kerry?" I show him my Kerry button, "You bet I am", I say.
"Me, too," he says, "and I'm a Republican! This is my first election, my first vote, and I can't even vote Republican."
The boxboy asks, "Why not?"
They guy says, "Cause I simply CAN'T vote for Bush."
Wooohoo!
This is Colorado Springs, Focus on the Family town!
There's hope for this country yet, eh?

I'm in Denver, and my jaw is on the floor.
Though our electoral votes aren't a lot, I sure would like to show up on the board in a different color this Nov.

I doubt we'll carry Colorado, but if this how things are in, say, Ohio, we're in good shape.
