what should their punishment be?
I have been thinking about this for some time now, but more urgently after the fiascos of the last two weeks.

WHAT should be the punishment for bush, cheney, rummy, condi, chertoff, and brown (and barbara, after hearing her comments the other day). this is my personal little fantasy about what should happen to them:

ALthough NOTHING could be punishment enough for this bunch of sadistic, uncaring jerks, I think my little plan might be a start:

bush, cheney, rummy, condi, mama bush, chertoff and brown, AFTER their sentencing by the ICC, will have to serve part of their time cleaning up NOLA and surrounds (without protective gear). After that is done, they will be confined to their group cell, with no privacy for their personal physical needs, and will be subjected to random audio-video of the dead and dying in afghanistan, iraq, and the gulf states, complete with scenes of the rotting corpses floating around NOLA, and the sounds of pleas for help, the crying of those watching their loved ones dying, and the screams of agony. These will be shown/heard at completely random times, all through the days and nights of the rest of their miserable, misbegotten lives.

that might BEGIN to come close to starting to be their fitting punishment.

1. A war crime sentence (if applicable) and a pink slip are fine by me.

2. They should be contestants on the 9 week Survivor New Orleans special
with the only assistance available in the area being someone as competent as their administration.

4. They should be made to watch as John Conyers assumes the...
chair of the Government Oversight Committee in Congress. That would be torture enough. Imagine Conyers and McKinney with subpoena powers...

5. I think they should all be forced to wear polyester and become Walmart...
greeters. I think they should have to shake hands with common people with no hope of personal gain, survive on minimum wage and live in public housing.

6. How about rounding up the
entire Bush Crime Family and have them spend a night in the Superdome
without water, among the tons of shit and piss from Americans who were
abandoned by their government in these dire straits.Today I heard the
Crime Family has suspended the Bacon Bill/Act,employers no longer have
to pay comparable wages during the clean-up and re-build.Companies now
can pocket more federal dollars for themselves. This is the 1st time ever the Bacon has been suspended, good for companies--bad for Americans....I despise them,i loathe them,i hate them,i curse them..

7. co-defendants with Saddam - if he's guilty, so are they ...
if Saddam is found guilty and, as the Iraqi government said, "he should hang twenty times", bush and his corrupt cabal should suffer the same fate since they totally enabled Saddam by "propping him up" and selling him weapons ...

well, since i'm totally opposed to the death penalty, how about hanging them all just once ... i think that's a fair compromise ...

and then after that, we could try them for their callousness in responding to the hurricane catastrophe ... if they're found guilty, and of course they would be, perhaps just one more hanging ...

but after that, that's it ... you don't want to overdue this hanging thing ...

9. I wouldn't let 'em off that easy...
That sounds like a country club prison compared to what they really deserve. But, as you said, it's a start...
