WASHINGTON, Sept. 9 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Following is a release from the Republican National Committee:

"While Americans pull together in a constructive manner to provide relief to those whose lives have been uprooted and in many cases destroyed, the Democrats' party leader continues to let political opportunism be his guide. Just when we need to focus on helping those who need it most, Dr. Howard Dean, a trained physician, has decided he is best served launching personal attacks at President Bush. Dean's bizarre attempts to link the devastation caused by Katrina to Judge John Roberts' hearings is reflective of a Party that takes its cues from Michael Moore and MoveOn and is motivated by partisanship at its ugliest."

-Tracey Schmitt, RNC Press Secretary

3. W wants to help evacuees who have computers, bank accounts
and who can handle EFT's. He's just your normal guy. He's helping to commit genocide on our poor.

13. Isn't that mind-blowing?
Christ, these people probably don't even have ID much less clean underwear, and I'll most don't even have bank accounts.

A silver lining: I know volunteer attorneys are going down there to assist, and I'm hoping they will smooth out this giant wrinkle BushCo stuck in their way.

I can hardly believe his stupidity with regard to policy. Stupidity mixed with indifference is deadly, as we saw last week.

6. Numbers, numbers
You notice how they always play the numbers game. I swear everytime they screw up they throw all these unsubstantiated numbers at us. How friggin stupid do they think we are?

To bad they don't like to toss out the numbers of how many soldiers have died, how many people have been hurt from their false numbers on medicare, tax cuts,Social Security etc., and I really doubt we will ever here the real number on the deaths from Katrina. We must demand the truth. We must keep the media on top of this.

11. They count words too.
Lynn Cheney is a famous example of this when she was trashing the History Standards.

'They said A five times and they didn't say B at all. See, they can't be believed!'

14. OK, nobody is a stretch.
But everyday, more people are viewing this admionistration in the context of its complete record. It was NO this time....who'll be the recipient of this administration's incompetence next time? And there's lots more on the horizon. Iraq, gas, Plamegate, Tenet has a story to tell, the economy. Nothing in Bush's immediate future looks like it's going to change anyone's mind in a positive way.
