Cheney visits Austin today.
I know Austin well. He should probably restrict his visit to the Capitol Bldg, North Austin and the Business School at UT. I don't think he'll be welcome anywhere else.

no one wants his sorry ass anywhere near here.

I think the Houstonians are planning to have an informal protest for his little Tom DeLay pom pom gig.

4. They have one for your state too.
I edited my post. Glad you caught it first though. We have a lot of dedicated people here.

3. We'll have to see if we can't welcome him to our community!
Maybe we can make it twice he has heard that word! I know that many of us think that is exactly what needs to be done to the dick.

6. Unfortunately for Maryland
it seems Cheney has bought a mansion on the shore. This makes me fear that either he or Lynne is gearing up to run for our senate seat. Recall his move to Wyoming to satisfy the "no common state of residence" rule, having to leave Texas to run as Bush's vice.

7. He seems to be getting the spotlight now.
Will this help in a Presidential Bid? Will he run?

8. Any DUers in Austin?
I sense another "Fuck you, Mr. Cheney" opportunity.
