I think we are past the point of effectiveness for idiot son's coverups
Just a sense .... a feeling ... no links ...... just my gut speaking to me ......

The news has been non-stop bad for idiot son.

The talk of blaming Blanco or Nagin is remarkably silenced.

People on Main Street are shaking their heads in disgust, incredulity, or sadness.

Reports of help reaching the devastation are prefaced by 'finally ....'

The polls are all in the same direction.

The 'blame game' seems to be over ..... or at least on hiatus.

Speculation on Michael of Arabians is centered on when he'll actually get fired .... and who will also be fired.

All the 'after action' talk of shortcomings point to massive failure at the federal level.

The Bush family has been remarkably ineffective at appearing humane .... or even human. Gramma Babs and Lady Stepford are being sent off to 'tea' at the club.

The religious wackos haven't said anything about Sodom meeting a latter day Gomorrah for a drink on Bourbon Street.

The 9/11 shindig planned for DC by Herr Uglyfukkinoberfuherer Rumsfeld has been moved to a secure location behind armed guards and snow fencing.

On the eve of the 4th anniversary of their best day in office - 9/11 - coverage of that event is virtually absent from any news outlet.

The live, on-air cursing of the man with his hand in the sock puppet has gotten wide spread coverage.

There is not one sympathetic personage in the administration; no one has broken through the media in their frantic search for sympathy.

The coverup will not be televised.

The coverup will not happen.

The coverup cloth was rent asunder by a lady named Katrina.

And our country is the better for it.

2. I am trying my best too....
to be a glass half full kind of guy these days. great thread. Let's keep a good thought. Please USA! Wake up! Whether Lib or Con, it should be obvious that the current admin is no longer doing its job.

Dem. party, get motivated PLEASE! We need a real leader on our side now more than ever. Bill Maher made a good point on real time a week ago when he said that most of the time, "the part of the democratic party will, be played by....(insert current dem soundbite droppper here)"

ORGANIZE, please. We can do it in 2006!

OK, I'll go take my meds now.....

3. Welcome to DU! I think John Conyers is looking more and more
presidential. He's been there, fighting this from the start. He's the leader of the get-to-the-bottm-of-the-DSM movement. He is HUGELY credible and courageous, AND genuinely compassionate, not buzz-phrase, photo-op compassionate. And he's now stepping up to an even grander plate:

Conyers rises to take on Bush
Congressman seizes upon Iraq war memos

Detroit FREE PRESS WASHINGTON STAFF – freep.com
WASHINGTON -- At age 76, U.S. Rep. John Conyers -- long a hero to civil rights activists -- has grabbed a new torch: darling of the antiwar, anti-Bush far left.

Conyers, arguably President George W. Bush's harshest congressional critic on Iraq policy, openly proclaims that his goal is nothing short of impeaching the president.

(snip)

http://www.freep.com/news/nw/conyers10e_20050910.htm

BTW - YES we should get motivated. YES we should work harder than ever. Eyes on the prize, guys.

Eyes on the prize.

Visual-eyes on the prize.

Visual-eyes...

Visualize... IMPEACHMENT!!!!!!!

Visualize... IMPEACHMENT AND REMOVAL FROM OFFICE!!!!!

And then go DO something about it!

And yes, that means you - make sure you take your meds, and then, get to work!

Tomorrow not one of the usual apologists or screech monkeys is on. The best it appears they can muster is empty suit Pataki.

Now .... they suffered DEEP damage last week - all week.

No blatherers.

Tomorrow is THE day ... 9/11 Plus Four.

The best they ahve for that is the number 2 guy in Iraq. No Rummy. No Tommy Franks. No Rudy. No cops. No firefighters. No widows. Nada.

Gee ..... why are they hiding?

Cuz they're buried under ten tons of dog shit!

Down suckers .... you're going down.

6. I read in a local newspaper her in Baltimore there is a group called
Women in Black against the War or something like that and supposedly a bunch of them are going to be standing on street corners tomorrow to show their sorrow against the war. This is great news and I hope they do it and I hope they get a lot more women to join up with them!

8. No, its still on so far as I know, but they have decided to 'secure'
the 'parade route' with fences and heavy security.

They must be afraid their disgusting paen to the vulgarity of their war will be an open invitation to the growing army of the discontented here in BushAmerika.
