Army recruitment @ monster.com |
|
For those who may not know, monster.com is a 'want ad' website that I check each Monday to look for jobs.
You log in. You get a solicitation request, usually for online correspondence schools, sometimes insurance or other products. Fill out the form or bypass it. Then search for want ads.
Today the solicitation request was Army recruitment.
Comments, folks?

On edit: what problem do you have with the Army using all available private and public recruiting avenues?

The left has to get off this anti military recruitment thing, its not the military fault that their CINC is a jackass,as Americans we are ALL responsible for this President and his foreign policy.

5. Why shouldn't they use a job recruitement site to find recruits? |
|
It's better then hounding 15-year-old high school students in poor and rural neighborhoods.

.... that they place ads that look like real jobs and only after you click thru do you find that it is the Army.
I have no problem with ADs that are presented as ADs. If they are posting JOBS and pretending to be companies - well I do have a problem with that.

As long as they disclose that they are the Army, then they can put jobs up just like anyone else, IMO. Let the person who reads the posting decide whether they want to pursue. It's not like you join the Army just by reading a posting.

You don't sign up just by reading the posting. And, in many cases you do have control over what you will be doing (jobwise). You just have to make sure it's in the contract before you sign.
