FEMA, Disaster Response and the role of Government
Edited on Mon Sep-12-05 01:19 PM by nadinbrzezinski
ok, ok we have been treated to a monumental fuck up... of monumental proportions. We are all going it is the incompetence stupid... well folks I am here to tell you it was planned incompetence.

These folks DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT believe government can do any good. The last Gov'ment we had that was capable was Clinton, so they on purpose have gutted any gov'ment agency that works... they have been at this since Reagan, gov'ment does not belong in relief, does not belong in schools, does not belong in roads, does not belong... except one place the military and even that one we will privatize if we can get away with it.

This is their philosophy, so they have fucked up on purpose. They have succeeded in making us go government is not working, and some are going maybe we should privatize the whole lot. This attack on locals and state is the next front. Next thing you know the police and fire agencies will be privatized... why? Gov'ment does not work and it is all private enterprise from now on.

So once you realize they hate gov'ment and the good gov'ment can do, you realize this fuck up was on purpose folks... it was on purpose.

Oh and they also want to federalize all disaster response, and take it away from the locals, perish the thought the locals may demand they do theeir work, but also that is one step closer to getting rid of posse commitatus.

2. 1878 Law keeps citizens out from under military jurisdiction
We don't want to lose this important law - its what keeps our governors and state reps in control. We saw Bush try to usurp this with LA's governor Blanco. She did the right thing by remaining in control. We would not be seeing any visuals of the Gulf destruction except what Karen Hughes deemed important, if Bush was successful last Sunday. We're being softened up with images of a good military now. Yeah, glad to see them but our National Guard is what should be there, not Blackwater.

I agree with nadin... it is all by design. not good at all
