CNN confirms Brownie has resigned as FEMA director.
Brownie is the Bushista designed fall guy, to deflect from Dubya's failed leadership.

6. All blame will be deflected from Bush
Edited on Mon Sep-12-05 02:04 PM by Julius Civitatus
Now Bush will appoint Saint Rudy or some other right-wing icon at the head of FEMA, and Karl Rove will play the "Bush-is-the-savior-of-Murka" card.

The media will slowly start reading from Karl's cscript again.

Watch it unfurl.

:argh:

Nah! Got to hand our those Katrina contracts to Dubya's cronies.

13. Can't happen. He was a Clinton appointee...
...and as anyone knows, everything that the Clenis ever did was bad, evil and unclean. The Bush fuck-up team has devoted the last 5 years to deconstruct everything good that Clinton did for America.

Bush will appoint some right-wing icon, saint Rudy or Bernard Kerik. Freepers will jizz in their pants, and the media will get back in full force to the "praise Chimpy" mode.

3. This guy deserves to be gone and we deserve to have him
be gone.

It doesn't excuse Dubya's bungles, as in appointing this guy who lied on his resume, in addition to not being experienced.

14. Believe Ashcroft was on Judciary Committee. There are some real knuckle
draggers from the Republican party on the Judiciary Committee--the latest is the Senator from Oklahoma, Tom Coburn--right-wing ideologue.

now, and the funding has been cut. The Rethugs tried to downsize FEMA and it came back to bite them in the ass.

Oh - never mind. We know his record on protecting humans AND animals isn't all that great.
