What's offensive to me is allowing thousands to die was not sufficient to can Brown. Lying (copiously) on his resume is what brought him down.

In retrospect, we really have to look at this White House's vetting procedures (and whether they care). Last I knew, the President had this thing called the FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION at his disposal to do things called "background checks". And it would seem to me that the FBI could uncover what took NBC a couple days to accomplish.
