Sick of your local, lazy, press? Finding the editorial page of your local
rag eerily familiar to your friend's local rag two states away with a different author?

Ready to call them on it?

I am.

Every week, I read the editorials in the aptly named Arizona Republic and see virtually the same rhetoric echoed in threads written by DUers complaining about the RW talking points expressed in their local rags.

I'm not saying they echo the talking points; they often virtually cut and paste the articles, it appears; changing a sentence here, a phrase there, adding a personal anecdote over there.

That isn't journalism, friends, and it sure as hell isn't professional.

I'm ready to call them on it. Let's do a Sunday editorial comparison. Pick your "favorite" RW hack from your locals and let's compare (and, *snort*, contrast) theirs to others.

Anyone with me?
