Dr. Phil...Why on God's green earth is a psychologist (or
whatever he is) acting in a reporter mode on CNN right now? It was bad enough when Larry King was asking the Dalai Lama stupid questions yesterday.

Where is Dr. Joyce Brothers when you need her?

This county is so f***ed! The last great superpower MY ASS!

1. I just don't like him
I used to but now I just think he's annoying. To me when I do see him he has this whole "holier than thou" thing going on. Personally he has this fake compassion thing going on. I think he's just doing the whole tv show thing for publicity. Apparently, from watching his show, he just does an hour of therapy (if you would call it that) and then he sends the person to someone in the area to basically do the job. I remember my brother telling me how once he saw a few minutes of the show and this woman was doing an introduction and she was saying how she doesn't feel guilty for taking time for herself. Right after that Dr. Phil asked her if she ever felt guilty for taking time for herself. I mean: duh! She just said it! :eyes: A lot of the stuff you can figure out for yourself or just by talking to a friend.

10. Haha - she must have read his cue card. I don't get why the fat guy
advises people on weight loss. A frind of mine = Miss Fivebyfive, says "Oh he isn't fat, he's big boned."

Uh huh. I've been lied to by experts.

2. You missed it. Earlier, his praises were being sung by some police
cheif who says DR P is helping him and his dept get through this. I thought this guy wasn't even really a DR. What happened to Oprah's strong voice a week ago? I don't get any of it. The fix is in, and they're all back to selling us whatever they got.

3. Dr. Phil is a reporter; he didn't like being a pshcohterapist so he does
this. He did one good thing that I'll never forget. He was on Oprah. This couple was in the audience below the stage telling Phil how they let their six year old sleep with them. He said something like "My God, you have to stop that now." They disagreed, and he responded "Listen to me, that's wrong, wrong, wrong..."

Oh, and his kid is marrying a Playboy Playmate...

You're right...but, hey, turn off Larry King and he no longer exists.
He is the biggest clown on TV. His typical line, "So anybody dead there?"

CNN is pathetic! Long drop from the days of Daniel Schorr!

Don't I know you from somewhere?

PS. Do all those folks sleep in the same bed? Somehow, Dr. Phil being a lousy diagnostician and therapist is no surprise.

14. But
I hope nobody would have struck a match when she was shredded,,

The methane gas inside her howling out under high pressure would have become a huge ball of flame that would have blown the roof off the dome.

6. Some dirt on Phil

"Dr. Phil doesn't like the fact that we actually expose him for being a wacko," Howard Stern says. "He's a car salesman."

15. But who cares really
I don't mean who cares what you think, but who cares if he is a self-important pompous guy. We can ignore him. To each their own and some like his style and he hasn't (that I know of) put down people for being gay or a single mother or other popular things to bash.

I'm glad someone paid attention to NOLA police, they deserve it and I hope they felt better for it.
I don't pretend to know his heart. I don't like his style, but unlike bush we can turn him off and he doesn't touch our life. Unlike Dobson or Rush or other pompous asses that reach many people, he doesn't preach hate. So...who cares.
