The difference between RESPONSIBILITY and ACCOUNTABLITY
Ok I go take a short nap and demons have possessed DU and I think I'm in some twilight zone episode.

So WHAT if Bush takes responsibility of the fuck-ups. He should, he must, it's in his job description. Are we so jaded by his non-leadership that we've forgotten that a president is ultimately RESPONSIBLE for everything under his command? Yes, probably. We've become starving little rodents waiting for any scrap of cheese to fall from the table to satiate our need for national leadership.

This is nothing more than a smoke screen to get the sheeple back on his side. So, he's gonna try and be a man. Big deal, too much water under that bridge georgie boy. WAY too much water.

What we've got to focus on is ACCOUNTABILITY. Make him accountable for the fuck-ups and not just responsible for them. Accountablity is what we are seeking not blow hard, rove-induced lip service.

The accountablity goes so deep, make him answer for the budget cuts, the cronyism, the favors, the out of touch bubble boy surreality that he lives in, the playing games and vacationing when the country is crumbling around him and for once, make him accountable for his inability to lead ANYTHING.

I want nothing less than his resignation, to begin with and then we can start the trickle down accountability until the whole corrupt and dastardly bunch of them are eating rubber chicken and veg-all off a metal tray in the midst of a prison population waiting on lockdown.

PERIOD.
