So, Bush's handlers thought it was finally time for him "be responsible" |
|
for government's performance in the aftermath of Katrina. Now who with half a brain believes that Bush is actually taking responsiblity where he should on his own? He had to wait until his handlers told him to do this.

It makes me think they're about to dump him.... and if he willingly resigns, then we get Cheney in the White House (who would be eligible to run for pres. in '08).

8. That's always the bottom line |

I just have to wonder how well he would do being in the public eye so much. He wouldn't be able to hide in his undisclosed locations as he does now. The country is heating up and people aren't in the mood for these guys any more. He'd be smart to cash in his tickets and retire to Halliburton's corner office.

when it's become painfully clear that none of your other excuses are working, is not leadership ... its CYA! :eyes:
I just hope the country won't fall for this shit!

Who believes he's actually taking responsibility, not just spouting meaningless rhetorical fellatio? When the time comes for someone to actually take responsibility, someone else will take the fall ... oh wait. That already happened. Guess my point is made.

credible nor sincere. He knows (as well as his handlers) that his numbers are way, way down and he's very unpopular. For him to just keep blaming the local officials--the public is not biting. Evidence shows otherwise--all levels of government failed. For Chimpie--it's most embarrassing since he was still vacationing when the storm hit and waited after his Calif. gig to respond.
