The NEW Website is great. Easy to navigate, good graphics.

Why does the PDA use so much GREEN???

Republican GREED has now KILLED more Americans than Al Qaeda!

The Democratic Party is a BIG TENT, but there is NO ROOM for those who advance the agenda of THE RICH (Corporate Owners) at the EXPENSE of LABOR and the POOR.

1. Thanks for posting this.
PDA is like a breath of fresh air. They understand the vast chasm of difference between the DLC corporatists and the party`s base. Thanks again.

2. You asked the same question I had...
"Why does the PDA use so much GREEN???"

I love green.. but not the color green they chose. It's too "Kermit the frog green" for me..

5. Good idea
I might be going out on a limb, but could it be a subtle effort to reach out to disaffected Dems who mean consider the Green Party?

7. I hope not
We must not splinter. How can we continue to say we are the 'big tent' party if some of our own want to leave? I'd rather get control of Congress or the WH back with a few DINOs than risk more years with the likes of Hastert and DeLay in charge.
A D is a D is a D if we get to set the agenda, run the committees and get our stature back.

9. It might be MORE productive...
...to address the problems INSIDE the Democratic Party that are causing so many to want to leave.

15. subtle but very effective.
bvar gave me this link yesterday in a response to a thread where I talked about going green. And as it stands right now, the PDA gives me hope and a place in the party. Its heartening to see dems alongside with greens and others who share my views... and moving away from the things I dislike about the party. Now, thanks to the PDA I dont feel such an urgency to leave and I know I have a place in the dem party.

So, thanks again bvar for taking the time to introduce me to the PDA as opposed to some of the others who were very eager to show me the party door. If bvar hadnt shown me this, I probably would have listened to all the people who's reponse was "see ya later loser... dont let the door hit ya... buh bye". Its much more beneficial for the party to respond with a solution for disaffected green-leaning dems... rather than just rejecting them outright. imho.

provide that link. I'll make sure I have it ready for the next time. :)

6. I Guess I Can Now Respond To Their Pleadings!
I joined them right after the election, but was unimpressed. AND I let them know it.... several times.

Maybe they have gotten the message. It's about time!

11. Made them.
It is pretty easy.

Get some heavyweight photo print paper.
Design whatever you want. I use CorelDraw.
The landscape mode will give you about 11" printable length. Somewhere around 3" height is good for bumper stickers.

Go to a craft shop and buy a roll of magnetic paper stuff (I forgot what it is called, but it is not expensive. Mine came in a roll and I still have plenty for more stickers.)
The Magnetic Paper has sticky stuff on the back.

Stick on your printout, trim to size, and you have a great magnetic bumper sticker.

I put a layer of wide scotch tape over the sticker to protect it.

It is nice to have inflamatory bumper stickers on a magnetic base. You might want to remove them in certain places.

I have been driving aroung with these for a few days.
I carry a camera so I can get amusing pictures of ConservoNazis foaming at the mouth with RoadRage, but so far, no one has done anything but wave.
:hi:

13. Refreshing! One of the few "solutions" I've seen at DU lately.
I tried to nominate for "The Greatest", but I don't have enough posts.
DU needs to become oriented to solutions for our problems.
