2. Should we have her jailed? |

I don't really understand your point. Are you saying it was irresponsible for her to make international headlines while the press wasn't paying attention to Rove/Plame? Did she also divert the grand jury's attention such that they couldn't deliberate on the matter at hand?

supplant \suh-PLANT\, transitive verb: 1. To take the place of (another), especially through intrigue or underhanded tactics; as, a rival supplants another. 2. To take the place of and serve as a substitute for.
I was just commenting on the 'one-issue-at-a-time'-edness of the MSM.

14. No it wasn't intentionally wiseacre. It was just a definition. |

I wasn't online and able to respond to those who questioned my motives. My point was not that Ms. Sheehan 'did' anything other than continue to to make known her dissatisfaction, disappointment and disgust. I posted to express my disappointment with the 'life-viewed-through-a-straw' perspective of the media, seeing one event of importance at a time.
If I appeared to malign Ms. Sheehan's name or mission, I heartily apologize. Blondeatlast and Classwarrior, I realize I should have written in a way that more clearly expressed my point, trite though it was.
Viewing the post title again it becomes obvious why people thought I expressed a negative about Ms. Sheehan. I'll be more thoughtful in any future posts.
Incidentally, Ms. Sheehan will be in Philly this Fri., Sept 16, 2005. I'm gonna try to at least see her.
