If Bush Couldn't Choose the Correct Guy to Head FEMA... |
|
why is he being allowed to choose the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court without a fight?

2. Yet another MOST reasonable observation. His incompetence and |
|
bad judgment in MANY respects are fodder for IMPEACHMENT. He shouldn't be allowed to make a single move or recommendation or declaration or anything at this point, since he's been so glaringly shown to be a hopeless, repeat-offender IDIOT.
I have been saying this in calls to various congresspeople's offices. "Brownie" may be gone, but the problem remains. The guy who hired and promoted him, who made sure his background and resume weren't properly vetted, who set the policies he had to implement, and who cut the budget he had to work with - is STILL THERE. So the "problem" if you will, has NOT gone away. "Brownie's" removal didn't solve ANYTHING.

4. After he's impeached, Everyone he appointed must go too. |

Rhenquist was a Nixon appointee and his sick ideology remained 31 years after we got rid of the crook.

This has been driving me crazy!
At a time when Bush appointments throughout his administration are coming under scrutiny and when he has accepted responsibility (sort of) for a massive fuckup, Democrats should be playing hardball and saying, "We want all the documents on Roberts, we want to know why someone with so little judicial experience is being offered this job, we want straight answers, or WE'RE GOING TO FILIBUSTER!"
I'd like to see the Republicans try to block a filibuster while Bush's judgment and cronyism are already being questioned.
Of course, I have no real hope that there are any Democrats with guts out there.
