Why do wingnuts think they are winning?? |
|
I read comments over and over again over at freerepublic.com that state that the Dems should keep up their opposition to Roberts and they will lose even more support, that the Dems are always digging their own grave with Howard Dean and with opposition to the republicans horrible plans, such as tax cuts, gutting social security, and Karl Rove in charge of rebuilding New Orleans, that we are losing, losing, losing. Well, last I knew, Bush's approval is down around 37% and Americans say they would vote for a democrat for Congress over a repub by a margin of 50% to 37%.
Are they delusional?? Or have I really gone around the bend?? Their president and their party are a complete car crash right now, and things are not looking up. What's up with this??

6. One must know their enemy |

but I don't think I can take it any longer. I cannot believe how incredibly evil and hypocritical my fellow Americans are. I start to wish we had let the nuts secede in the 1860s.

That's all that matters to them.
Oh, and they have majorities in both houses of Congress and will shortly have a stranglehold on the Supreme Court. As if they didn't already.
Poll results mean nothing. Bush isn't going anywhere. His poll numbers could drop to zero and we're still stuck with him.
That's why they think they're winning.
