Republican Backlash?
Reading some of the threads here...bumper stickers being ripped off and the beginning of the "hate game" by the media...Could this be the beginning of a backlash? Has anyone thought of the fact that the RW is facing its demise and in its last breaths, cornered as it were, they may start lashing back against us? Some of it due to their death struggle and some of it due to frustration. Should we be extra cautious?

1. They are experts in the science of backlashing...
(the only science they recognize) and they do it so well that when Dems backlash they call it "overly sensative" or "over PC", but when they backlash it's call being "proactive" and "assertive".

It's all whining to me.

2. They are used to a scapegoat to dump all their 'bad feelings' on. They
are having a hard time finding one this time. Yes - many will frenzy. We need to make up a list of incidents.

We already know about harrasing calls to the Congressional Black Congress.

Anything else?

Therefore, be wise as serpents, but harmless as doves.

Yes, the Repressive Right is not going to go down with either grace or dignity. They didn't rule the country using those qualities (if they have them), and they sure as hell aren't going to suddenly get all c'est la vie now. Look for increasingly out of control and violent reactions as they see their demented dreams of domination drift away.

6. I say let them "backlash" and demonstrate how creepy they are
America's "immune system" is getting stronger and the rightwing backlash is a symptom of the political body healing itself.
