CNN-Gov Jeb Bush's son arrested
This is on the front page of cnn.com

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) -- The youngest son of Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was arrested early Friday and charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest, law enforcement officials said.

John Ellis Bush, 21, was arrested by agents of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission at 2:30 a.m. on a corner of Austin's Sixth Street bar district, said commission spokesman Roger Wade.

The nephew of President Bush was released on $2,500 bond for the resisting arrest charge, and on a personal recognizance bond for the public intoxication charge, officials said.

Wade said he had no further details about the charges.

5. Was George P., the elder son arrested when he got drunk and
broke into the apartment of his former girlfriend? Or just reprimanded?

7. Wasn't her apartment,it was her Parents HOUSE.....
That's how it goes down when your a Bush, never accountable for ANYTHING. How many other people would be pissed off enough to break in to your girlfriends PARENTS home at 4:00 am without even worrying about the consequences?? Then when he left he ripped up the yard by driving though it.

Well, little Bush did it and beat the rap when her parents declined to have his fucking ass arrested--no doubt a shit load of CASH from Jeb helped out in that decision. A formal complaint was filed but that was it.

8. FAMILY TRADITION
Edited on Sat Sep-17-05 07:48 AM by Julius Civitatus
Give him a break! The kid is just following the steps of his elders. It's a great family tradition to be arrested for alcohol-related issues. Just like his uncle George...

:sarcasm:

PS: this is the FIFTH time someone in Jeb's household gets arrested. Apparently one Bush family value is to raise your kids knowing they will not be accountable for anything, that laws are for the lesser people.

First it was mamma Columba Bush, fined by U.S. Customs officials for trying to smuggle $19,000 worth of clothes and jewelry she bought on a Paris shopping trip.

Then the elder boy of Jeb (George P. Bush) got arrested for stalking and breaking into the house of a former girlfriend.

Here's the creepy arrest report on his stalking activities:

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/georgep1.html

Then there's the Noelle Bush girl, arrested twice, first for shoplifting in Arizona in 1995, then for drug-related issues and prescription fraud. Later, she was busted for possessing cocaine at a rehab facility.

Now the little one, Jeb Jr. following on the steps of his older siblings. This is actually the second time Jeb Jr. gets arrested. In 2001 he was caught by the cops having sex in a public place. Here's the police report from the incident:

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/jebby1.html

And now Jeb Jr. got arrested for public drunkenness. Here's another proud family portrait:

PS: Let's not forget their cousins, Jenna and Barbara Bush, were arrested at an Austin restaurant for trying to use a fake ID and Barbara for being in possession of alcohol

Ahh... the Bush family values...

9. Remember when Jebs WIFE was trying to sneak stuff through customs?
That was back in 2000,just a few months before the election. She had been across the pond in England,France etc and bought a shitload of clothes. I guess she didn't want Jebby to know so she tried to sneak the stuff through instead of paying the tariff. She got caught....

I used to have a link to the story, not sure if I do anymore. Maybe someone else still has one. Their family philosophy is simple, they just think their above the law because their spawn of the Bush clan.

12. Jeb Bush said
from the CNN link...
"My son's doing fine. It's a private matter. We will support him. We're sad for him. But I'm not going to discuss it on the public square with 30 cameras," the governor told reporters."

Though, Jeb Bush didnt have a problem draging the personal lives of Michael and Terri Schiavo through the public mud when it served his political purposes...I hate these bastards.

17. The "resisting arrest" is the most telling aspect of the story.
Didn't his uncle get equally upset with the cops during his DUI?

Can't blame the kid though, all around him he sees family members brazenly, openly, repeatedly breaking the law...actually raising their middle fingers (or thumbs) at the face of Justice...AND getting away with it time and again. How dare those cops try and do their job!! That's okay...his Unkie will set them straight...or maybe his Grandma.
