We have donated money through our church for these people, as well as purchasing the Red Cross's recommended needs but there is an end to OUR money. We have to LIVE within our BUDGET and we thought President George W. Bush understood that from the time he was a Governer. WE are not on board this ship anymore!

2. They won't support the "lazy" from getting federal handouts but they

will support the rich corporations getting gigantic handouts. I'll say this about the welfare people - they buy goods from American stores and their money stays in the USA. Companies like Haliburton get their money out of the country, don't pay taxes on it, and won't bring it back except for contributions to the repub party.

And though I don't hang out with the poor, I've met 3 people in my life on welfare and they were all white.

And personally I wouldn't mind publicing support * and his buddies with federal coins - for their prison stay.

Hey, with all of those "disadvantaged" New Orleanians whooping it up at the Astrodome, and getting such a great deal by being there, they may just indeed decide to stay, and turn that state blue as the deep blue sea!
