So, what do we really want?

As we revel in the plummeting poll numbers and realize that sheeple and "swing voters" are awakening from their false assumption the administration knows what they're doing, what's the next step?

What do we really want?

I'm thinking it's a sweeping Democratic victory in 2006. Let's get focused!

1) Paper ballots are more important than ever. If not actual paper ballots, then audit trails. With the info coming out from Bradblog, and news that some counties are looking more closely into the integrity of e-voting, this is the time to renew our efforts to shed light on this issue. It doesn't matter who runs if the vote is tampered with.

2) The message. What is the message? What do we want to say? What do we want to hear? What can we tell our leaders that may make a difference and get more Dems to the voting booth and more people to register or vote Democrat because the ideas make sense. We all know the Dems have a habit of shooting themselves in the foot, so let's not let that happen this time. What are the issues?

3) Candidates. Local and national candidates need help. Take back the government one seat at a time. Shaking our fists is fun and makes us feel better, but look around at the races in your area and let's get to work. :)

That's where my mind is this morning. Watching Bill on This Week this morning reminded me once again that it is possible to regain control of the government, but it's not gonna be a cake walk and it's not going to happen without us.
