And could he win? Or do his harsh words "chickenhawk ass" hurt him as a "Senate candidate", when people in the Senate are mostly known as not having any balls.

Hackett in Ohio!...

Schumer said Hackett is definitely running against Dewine and he believes he will win.

He apparently heard Schumer say it at a fundraiser for the DSCC.

I'm excited. :)

And how do we trust this source?

And how do we know that Biden and Schumer and the rest aren't saying "Tone down the language ,you can't call Bush a son of a bitch anymore".

4. Well, it was (allegedly) said at a DSCC fundraiser.

It's not like it's a leak or an anonymous source or anything.

We don't know that Biden and Schumer are saying, or not saying, such things. I would hope they weren't, but there's no way to know with 100% certainty.

5. Well, he damn near won (possibly did win) in the most republican district
of Ohio with very little funding. I think it's almost guaranteed that he could win.

6. very little funding?
You got to be kidding. I believe he had more money to spend then Schmidt. He started with little money but in the final weeks of the campaign he outspent Schmidt... He raised more then $600,000 online.

8. To run a campaign without much money for all but the last few weeks
and do that well rarely happens.

7. Just an observation from your friend up north
It seem as though your senate is a clubby bunch. Does something happen to them when they win their seats? They seem to lose their voice and are afraid to go on the attack; maybe not all of them but aa lot.
