Here we go again - oil prices going up |
|
Here we are with a tropical storm moving towards Florida and already the gouging oil companies are seizing on the opportunity to cry shortage/possible damage again and drive prices up before the damn storm even hits anything.
They must know how stupid we are. And our government goes right along with these thieves.

3. Glad I got my scooter last week. |

At 100-110 mpg, it will help out a lot.
What burns me on this whole deal is that these are FUTURES prices, the price that will be paid on a barrel in a month from now. The gas that we're getting out of the pump right now is gas that was refined and put in the pipeline a month ago, before Katrina hit.
I just think that it outright gouging the way pump prices go up with futures pricing, yet when futures go down, the pump price stays high. And meanwhile, Big Oil continues to make record profits:grr:
