Family Values Conservatives |
|
How do these people get to claim to be family values people when all their kids get in trouble? Jeb Bush's kids alone should make people turn against these conservatives on the family value issue. All of Jeb's kids have been arrested at least once and his youngest son has been arrested twice. Once for having sex in the back of a vechile and the latest for being drunk in public.
It is just amazing to me that these conservatives try to lecture people about how to live their lives. Any democrat that runs against Jeb in 08' should be able to wipe the floor with this guy. Today Rachel Maddow listed the rap sheets of those in the Bush/Cheney administration and it was amazing. All together there are 10 arrests between Bush, Cheney, George Bush's kids and Jeb Bush's kids. 10 arrests between 7 people that is just crazy. Democrats really need to take the family value issue from the Republicans.

HOW many times would they have been arrested if they WERE NOT Jeb's kids. A lot of cops would not want the trouble of arresting Jeb's kids.

2. When my kids were in high school |
|
they hung with I guess you would call an alternative crowd. It was the 90's and there was a lot of purple hair, tattoos, etc.
But none of either of their friends ever got into real trouble. No arrests or that sort of thing. It seemed to me that the kids who were really acting out were the sons and daughters of the local upper crust. They belonged to the elite social clubs and looked so clean cut on the outside, but when you learned what some of these kids were about, it was troubling. A LOT of promiscuity and massive drinking. Then they hit the fraternities and sororities and it appeared to go downhill from there.
Just my observation..

3. They just claim away. It's a game, one to be played without rules. |

They must snicker at all the rubes who buy their lies. I think people need to ask themselves why they have such a deep need to believe what is so obviously untrue.
And George's political philosophy: You can fool some of the people all of the time, and I'm going to focus on those people. This was quoted in "Running On Empty" by Peter G. Peterson, formerly in the Reagan administration.

4. But They're Rich and Have Power |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-19-05 02:04 PM by maxrandb
Even though their kids can be punk-ass, drug abusing, pieces of shit, they have money and power. That prevents them from being a "drag" on society.
See, that's how it works. If you're poor and you get in trouble...YOU MAY NEVER GET YOUR LIFE BACK!!! If you're rich and powerful, and you get in trouble...YOU HAVE A SAFETY NET IN THE FORM OF MOM AND DAD's CHECK-BOOK!!!
Look at our illustrious pretzledent. If you or I, (assuming we neither have parents or friends with $ millions at their disposal) failed in a business venture, we would have to pick ourselves up by our boot-straps, file bankruptcy (if we still could), and struggle to get our lives back in order. This pretzledent has failed at EVERY single things he has tried, and repeatedly, one of daddy's friends has slapped a "golden parachute" onto his back.
The only reason Rush Limbaugh isn't on a street corner giving out $5 hand-jobs for his drug addiction, is because the stupid Freepers listen to his sorry ass. With their support, he can buy his drugs in bulk!
That's why my new slogan is: "Support the War on Drugs...Stop Listening to Rush!"
