Anyone hear Galloway on the Michael Medved show today? |
|
WOW!
What a dressing down Medved got.
I was in awe!

Wow! What a treat to hear that weasel finally cornered.
The truth just sounds different, doesn't it?

4. Exactly! You could HEAR Medved curling up into the fetal position |
|
and sucking his thumb.
And when Galloway called him a D.J....

6. Hmm....let's see what I can remember |
|
At one point, Medved brought up that Galloway criticized him saying "the greatest nation on God's green earth."
Galloway said it was arrogant and false patriotism and, essentially, insulting to people in other countries. He brought up the horrid response to Katrina and said we're not the greatest nation on earth. Brought up the Abu Ghraib photos and said we're not the greatest nation on earth.
Medved was saying Galloway was a close friend of Saddam's and Galloway fired back he'd only met him twice, the same number of times as Rumsfeld. Galloway said he knew of Saddam and criticized his rise to leadership in the 70s before Medved had ever even heard of him.

Sounds like the kind of thing that would go even better with visuals. I really cannot abide that smarmy, sanctimonious prick, Medved.

8. Also, another portion I heard was: |
|
Galloway was countering charges that he was supporting terrorists or appeasing them by saying that fighting terrorism (and he is definitely against the likes of bin Laden and Hussein) can't be done by military means alone. We have to understand why terrorism exists and his explaining terrorism does NOT mean he supports it.
Essentially, he was just trying to cut through the BS RW talking points parroted by so many ignorant callers and shows like Medved's.

9. Sir George, a real knight! |
|
i saw medved on 'politically correct' the bill maher show, (they call it politically 'in' correct but that's just conman crap) and medved came off as the most annoying punk on earth; he must love chris hitchens and bill o'whorely, for their depraved lack of decency...Sir George should punch mike's light out (but that wouldn't be very nice now, would it?)

11. I caught the tail end of the Galloway-Hitchins square-off on C-Span |
|
The guy is pretty strong. He's like trans-Atlantic jumper cables for the progressive/liberal movement over here.
If enough thinking and caring people can follow his lead and cry "Bullshit!" to President Forrest Gump and Co., then things will really start poppin'
