Why is it that when I ask regular people about paying for Katrina |
they say, first repeal those damn tax cuts for the rich which did not help the economy and second, take it from that war that wasn't supposed to cost us but one or two billion $ at most. However, today, CNN sent someone to DC to inquire as to where the money will come from and the politicians, Cornyn, Hutchison, Frist...and more all said that they won't repeal the tax cuts or take $ from the war. Instead they want to take it from Medicaid. So, when politicians in our "Representative" Government NO longer represent the will of the people...what happens? Plus, I have written to my officials about this and I know others who have too. Is there a group of like minded people organized around this issue (ie REPEAL those tax cuts for the wealthy and take the money from the war)? Theoretically it should be the Democrats right? What grass-roots organizations are out there now saying this?

1. Why is it that we have to talk about paying for relief efforts for Katrina |
but there is no thought of shipping 300 Billion to Bush's Imperial War of Aggression?

4. Voting doesn't matter because with Electronic voting systems |
made by people allied with one party over another that are NOT transparent and are NOT auditable - YOU HAVE NO DEMOCRACY! This administration is not legitimate. They cheated in 2004 by altering the central tabulator. So if you think that you can vote them out...think again.

Any political opposition that cannot win on the issue of tax cuts for the affluent vs medicare/medicaid cuts deserves to lose.

5. You will have to have a fair election system in use and we don't |
have that now. Our system can't be audited, therefore it is NOT transparent. We have NO Democracy here in the USA. It's a sham and a shame.

6. First we flood the poor |
then we drown the poor then we leave the bodies of the poor to bake in the sun. And then we make the poor who rely on medicaid pay to clean up our mess.

7. There were even worse suggestions. They said we are going to |
have to sacrifice to rebuilt NO. No way! They are thinking of having requirements for getting social security. Say if you have a 1/2 million in assets you can't get SS. Well, how much is the average home now-a-days. They mentioned the transportation bill that was filled with pork. Plus the medicade.
I am really ticked off at this. They have no idea where the money is going in Iraq, but we have to cut everything here while they enjoy all the illegal things they're doing. Time to start screaming.

8. The only Dems saying this are the real Dems such as Dean. |
He has been bellowing about these tax cuts since day one and recommending we not only not make them permanent but rescind them.
