I'm actually writing up an article on the Electoral College, and to illustrate how an election could be thrown into the House, I wanted to use the idea of McCain as a third party candidacy (since he apparently polls about as well among Dems and Independents as he does among Republicans) and I was trying to find out what states he might win.

Any guesses? (Besides AZ, of course.)

1. The state of denial...
the state of confusion.

Find safe haven in an altered state.

2. Not sure if any. His constant
pandering have made him lose a lot of credibility.

3. I don't think McCain is viable as a third party candidate any more.
Those who would have voted for him as an independent are probably pissed off at him for all the Chimp ass kissing he's done.

11. I know a LOT of repubs and Dems
who really still like McCain. Heck, I supported him over Bush in 2000 - I never was sold on Bush.

I think if McCain runs, he wins, unless we run Wesley Clark. I don't know if the repubs, run by the religious fanatics, would support him.
