Approve - 40%
Disapprove- 57%

CNN/USA Today/Gallup (9/16-18) "Do you approve or disapprove of the way George W. Bush is handling his job as president?"
Approve - 40%
Disapprove- 58%

FOX News/Opinion Dynamics (Sep. 13-14) "Do you approve or disapprove of the job George W. Bush is doing as president?"
Approve - 41%
Disapprove- 51%

NBC News/Wall Street Journal (9/9-12) "I'm going to read you the names of several public figures and organizations, and I'd like you to rate your feelings toward each one... George W. Bush?"
Very / Somewhat Positive - 42%
Neutral - 10%
Somewhat / Very Negative- 48%

Zogby America (Sep. 6-7) "your overall opinion of George W. Bush "
Favorable - 49%
Unfavorable- 50%

1. Two polls that are interesting
The first is Zogby, That poll is sooooo far out of the norm that you have to wonder who they talked to.
The second is Opinion Dynamics, because that is the faux news poll and in that poll he's got a negative rating of 10 points.

5. With Zogby, it might be that there are too many options..
I did their most recent online poll and on the 'opinion' question they have maybe 6 or 7 options? So, people who might choose 'disapprove' if you only had 3 options (approve/disapprove/no opinion) might pick 'somewhat approve' because there is one area in which they like him. That's one possibility.
