Imus to Monica Crowley: Do you have an I.V. drip pumping neocon Kool-Aid?
Edited on Fri Sep-23-05 07:32 AM by Bush_Eats_Beef
"You sound like a crazy person."

Monica Crowley is running down the full Karl Rove talking points on Iraq:

Bush decided that we had to not only go after the terrorists but the nations that sponsored terror as well, and we would "start with Saddam."

She said that she's happy that her show was moved to 12 noon, it's "a good time to be on." Imus said "No it's not, NO ONE is watching TV at noon."

He let her give the Iraq speech for about three or four minutes and said "Do you have an I,V, drip steadily pumping that neocon Kool-Aid into you? You sound like a crazy person."

She really is a genuinely disgusting human being. She also claimed that her show got moved because of a power play by Chis Matthews, who is making a conscious effort to increase the profile of his show in the "Red states."

2. I saw this creepy woman on with Reagan jr.
and believe me she doesn't just sound crazy. Unlike a lot of these people she really believes the crap she's paid to spew.

btw what's an "ed state"? If its a typo for red state I think Matthews is wasting his time. Most repubs I know think he's a wimpy liberal even after years of kissing pub asses.

7. Yeah, Monica's got a "special" quality...
It used to be called "being a genuine creep."

"Ed state" is indeed a typo.

10. Imus recommends CommonDreams.org
Imus is listed on the CommonDreams website as saying the following:

"Don't think that big media tells the real story? A must read from the left - CommonDreams.org." - Don Imus Daily/MSNBC

8. Bring in Phil Donahue and he'd blow away Crowley and Matthews
both combined on their best day.

Keith Olbermann is the only worth while program to watch on MSNBC.

He openly admitted to supporting Kerry and even defended him vehemently several times against co-workers and guests on the show.

do you think Bush Sr. would have been on his show after the election?

16. Somebody tell Crowley
that if she truly cared about America, she would take a fraction of the money she spends on Krispy Kreme donuts and donate that money to the victims of Katrina. I imagine that would feed upwards of 50 people.

24. Whatever happened to Candy Crowley
She's gone from the list of CNN reporters along with Judy Woofwoof. I knew Judy was canned but did they get rid of Crowley at the same time? I quit watching CNN in 2000 but I remember her whoring for bush even then.

17. I often wondered about this statement: a common chant from RWers:
Bush decided that we had to not only go after the terrorists but the nations that sponsored terror as well, and we would "start with Saddam.

Then why not go after Saudi Arabia? After all, that country provided 75% of the 9/11 hijackers and have been known for decades of supporting state-sponsored terrorism

I know, I know, you and I both know the answer to that one. Bush is fellating the Saudi family for their oil, ignoring the role they had in 9/11 and saying "okie-dokie" to that country's child sex and slave trade.

But I'd still like to hear someone like this Crowley person attempt to answer these charges...

21. Because we are partners with SA and we also support terrorism
worldwide. How could we sell all our armaments if we didn't keep the wars going? That's one of the few things we manufacture, war toys.

Why do you think the Bush Crime Syndicate's lawyer, James Baker III, defended the Saudis against the 9-11 family survivors when they were trying to trace the money trail for terrorist financing. It's because a lot of the money is from the Bush Crime Syndicate and their pet, the US government.

25. Also explains why, in Moore's "F9/11," the Secret Service showed up...
...to see what Moore was up to when he was standing across the street from the Saudi Embassy with his cameraman. All he was doing was standing across the street, talking about the Saudis and their relationship to the US when a Secret Service car pulled up and an officer gets out to ask what Moore is doing.

It was obvious: someone in the Saudi embassy saw him (and the cameraman), called the White House to complain, and the White House sends out the Secret Service to investigate.

So now its revealed: we Americans pay taxes for the Secret Service to protect the President, Vice-president, and Saudi Embassy

18. This is why all the posters who totally dismiss Imus are unfair
Imus isn't perfect. He even disgusts me at times, but there are many times when he's spot on, too, not that I watch him very much. I can't stand watching him chew on that ice the way he does while he's trying to talk. Just the same, he does put a good bashing on the wrong side enough to make me come back once in a while.
