2. Diebold has to be beaten long BEFORE. This needs to be done by
Dr Dean and President Carter. They also need to be pro-active to stop the other dirty tricks we don't know about yet, but that we know the repugs will surely pull.

7. I believe this is best done at grassroots level - make sure your
district, and your state, are both using non-Diebold systems (with paper trail).

If we all make this a priority over the next year, it can be done!!

8. not a single one
it's going to take the people of this nation to rise up and demand that dieboldt machines are removed from elections.

until the people in the states pull their heads out of their asses, dieboldt and enron and halliburton and the rest of these corporate criminals will be selecting the government for decades to come.

we expect the democratic party to work miracles. yes, they should do more. yes, they should spend every waking minute railing against the crimes of the republican party. yes, they should be exposing the republican party every chance they get. unfortunately we cannot count on them. it's going to take every single one of us to be as vigilant as andy stephenson was. it's going to take millions of people to wake up and pick up where andy left off.

no matter what, there will be millions of useful idiots (i.e. freepers and the like). there will be tools of the republican party in the way (i.e. the MSM, mainly fox news). it's going to take a major effort by the patriots in this country to rise up over the filth and take back democracy.

personally, i don't see it happening. most americans are lazy and complacent.

10. Any who can establish a LARGE lead in the campaign.
If it's close, Diebold wins for the GOP.

If it's far and away a clear landslide in advance, where even the worst pollsters can't mask it, Diebold can't tip it.

12. You should probably post this as a poll.
Personally, my money's on Clark. He's not slick. He's not a politician. He's got limited baggage. He also plays well in Red states.

But most of all, he has good ideas, and seems to believe in progressive principles. He also has a knack for sounding reasonable.

13. No Dem will beat Diebold as long as the Repugs control them, 2006 will
have more problems -- think Major Ohio-Florida ramificatios which still haven't been properly addressed.

It doesn't matter who you vote for -- it mattersonly who's doing the counting! (tabulating)
