* Today Chimpy is going to "President School" : these are actual quotes!
http://www.canofun.com/blog/default.asp

Yes, it's true! Chimpy says he is going to Texas today to (are you ready):

"observe the relationship between state and federal government"

followed by:

"I need to understand that better!"

Yes, Chimpy is going to learn about how government works today! He is going to bring his blue lined, black and white composition notebook and his favorite No. 2 pencil, and LEARN all about how state and federal governments work together! During a crisis! Isn't that neat? It makes me feel so secure knowing that after 5 years of being my president, Chimp has an open mind about learning how to do his job! And he has lots of helpers, too. Hmmmmm... it is curious that he puts himself in the passive position as "observer" rather than "commander-in-chief".. as in "Guys, don't look at me to tell you anything! I'm just here to learn!"

Well, well. What do y'all think about this?

6. Or better still
have him read the biography of David McCall, the guy who created Schoolhouse Rock. This guy, who made millions in the advertising game, spent his spare time going around the world helping refugees. When no government would shell out for satellite phone service in the Balkins (to set up phone lines so refugees who had fled fighting could call their hometown and see if their families were ok), David and his wife Penny did. Not content with shelling out the money for the project, they went over there to help set up the system. On their way down a mountain where they had set up a satellite dish, their jeep ran off the muddy road and plunged down the mountain, sending all within to their deaths. You can read more about these folks at True Heroes.

He is obviously a slow learner.

7. Oh wait, my husband just reminded me he was a Governor for six years
So that means that he has had eleven years to figure it out.

Sorry, he isn't a slow learner; he is an idiot.

17. all he learned was that "governors hug people" after a disaster
Evidently his understanding of crisis management never got past the photo-op stage.

5. Never again should be have a president who needs on the job training
Too many people bought all that crap in 2000 about appointing good people (blah, blah, blah), getting good advice (blah, blah, blah), delegating responsibility (blah, blah, blah), and demanding accountability (blah, blah, blah).

You know what? I DO want a president who is a compulsive deatil freak, someone who will not wait around for others to do things that need to be done, and if need be, will do them himself.

18. BUSH: "This is your brain on drugs" wham!!!!!
ya know when I was a kid I did my share of..."experimenting"? -- but me or no-one I've ever known or even read about ended up as bad as Bush did
his brain is so toasted, not medication, nor therapy, which by the way he doesn't believe in...would work anyway, and this joker ends up being the President Of The United States?! sort of reminds me of Sirhan-Sirhan or Oswald (The Patsy) the perfect Manchurian Candidate.

I wonder if he'll awake in 2009 and not remember anything that happened in the last 8 years??

20. Very good, npincus.
Like when he wanted to find out what went right on the Gulf Coast. And this, at the very time when the whole world wanted to know what went wrong - and why.
