Some of us were clearly wrong about Osama bin Laden |
|
.... by the way .... does anyone remember him?
Anyway ..... some of us have postulated that Osama was on ice and they'd trot him out when they needed the boost.
Well, if ever they need a boost, its now.
There's no way they have Osama on ice. No way.

but I doubt we know where the body is. I doubt Bush even cares anymore. He never mentions bin Forgotten. It's always "9/11 9/11 9/11"

2. That's a very real possibility |
|
Osama bin Dead.
Or not ....

3. Yeah, "9/11" is way too useful to let drop. |
|
By actually capturing someone even.

8. Hey yea, if they had captured Bin Laden when they were in Afghanistan |
|
what excuse could they make up for Iraq? The King Terrorist would be gone and the fear would have subsided. It would have been a much harder case to make for a war.

4. True that--it's time we all start making that connection for him. |
|
9/11=ObL, 9/11=ObL, 9/11=ObL.
Americans slaughteresd on their own soil=ObL.
The Pentagon bombed=ObL.
National Security violated=ObL.
It's so very convenient, with the nation realizing Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11, to just forget about who did--that brings up unpleasant questions.
Unpleasant questions can strengthen a weary nation...

5. Sad to say that the biggest threat to our national security |
|
is not Osama Bin Forgotten. It is the Bushista 'Puke war profiteers and traitors to the Constitution. They are undermining our government in ways that OBL could only dream about.
When the history of this time is written, scholars will wonder why we let this happen.

I was certain he died in late 2001. Nothing but cave dust.

7. Somewhere in all if this |
|
it's Clinton's fault. Never mind that Clinton had no support for going after him. Bush on the other had had the full force of the US military and blew it. But it's Clinton's fault.
I am not safer with BushCo at the helm. Not. One. Bit.

9. I always figured they invented Hopalong Zarqawi for that very reason... |
|
...either Osama is dead, or they have completely lost track of him. In either case, he would be useless for a manufactured threat. They needed a new terrorist superstar, but the problem with actual terrorists is that they're unpredictable. So instead they invented one from a computer generated composite sketch and Hopalong Zarqawi was "born".
