The stage is set, Mr. President. This is your absolute best chance.
Prove your leadership tomorrow.

Forget Mr. Rove, sir. If your true believers are right about you, you don't need him. The events shaping up for tomorrow offer you an incredible opportunity to prove them right and the rest of us wrong.

You don't need to fly into the midst of the action in a flight suit.

You don't need an audience from Central Casting behind you.

You don't even need a microphone or a bullhorn.

Mr. Rove can even come if you want--but you don't need him, do you?

The Rose Garden must be lovely this time of year. Have some tea, or I bet a G&T would be perfect.

All you need to do is have a nice chat with a middle-aged soccer mom--but WE get to pick which one...

3. Can you see him with that 9/11 bullhorn
Standing at the foot of Cheyenne Mountain yelling "I can't hear you!"

2. That would be the sensible thing to do
but Bush isn't known to have any sense. I think if he ever met with Cindy Sheehan, he would explode, because she would tell him the truth, something he doesn't and cannot understand.

5. I'm aware of that, but a real leader could find a way to get there.
If I thought there was a snowball's chance in Yuma of this happening, do you really believe I would have posted it?

9. For an unpracticed host, God, the nation, the world, and the press
would be a tad intimidating, I imagine...

11. The last thing that was going to happen is have bush face that humiliation
Instead he is trying to look presidential someplace in Colorado. Another
rove blunder to be sure! It has been said before, the only thing rove is a "genius" at is smearing an opponent during a political campaign, otherwise, he is waaaaay out of his league.

12. It gives me this message...
That this is his way of telling us, to kiss his ass...shameful, imo...he blew this one, big time...and someone, whoever's in charge, is too stupid to realize it..It shouts out, that he doesn't care how the people who pay him to do a job, feel..

16. Once again Bu$h
has proven to us that he is not a leader, that the only thing he cares about is his own personal agenda and those of his Texas/Big Corp. buddies. I'm truly wondering how we'll ever survive the next couple of years.
